PONAR Wadowice and Moog Inc. Sign Memorandum of Understanding at Polish-American Day

Our Strategic Partner PONAR Wadowice S.A. signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Moog Inc., a global leader in the aerospace & defense industry - as part of the Polish-American Day.

A Polish manufacturer and an American defense giant, defining the framework for future technological and industrial cooperation. This partnership greatly strengthens Poland's position in the global defense and innovation landscape.

Representing the signatories to the Memorandum of Understanding were Marek Warzecha, CEO of PONAR Wadowice S.A., Jacek Zygmunt, Advisor to the Management Board of PONAR Wadowice S.A., Dr. Eng. Piotr Rosikowski, Director of PONAR’s Research and Development Center, Elwira Kelly, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Moog Inc., and Beth Spiess, Strategic Aerospace & Defense Leader at Moog Inc.

The signing took place in the presence of distinguished guests from science, business, diplomacy, and government - including SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda, Phyllis Borzi, Former Assistant Secretary at the Department of Labour, and Prof. Jim Mazurkiewicz, Chairman of the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce in Texas.

The ceremony took place under the auspices of the Kościuszko Mound Committee (Komitet Kopca Kościuszki w Krakowie) and The Polish-American Center, with the participation of Prof. Piotr Dobosz, President of the Committee, Dr. Adam Kozień, Vice-President, and Łukasz Chyla, Director of The Polish-American Center.

As Marek Warzecha, CEO of PONAR Wadowice S.A., put it: "Signing a memorandum with Moog Inc. is a recognition of the competence of our engineers by one of the most demanding partners in the world and reflects the interest of both companies in developing technological and industrial cooperation in Poland, as well as further strengthening our country's defense and innovation potential."
